Our mission
Every patient deserves to be treated according to the best available evidence.
Coverage policy decides who gets treated and on what terms. Its criteria are revisited on a schedule, not when the evidence moves.
When the two drift apart, patients pay in both directions: a restriction with no current basis strands patients who should get through, and a criterion looser than the evidence puts patients on a therapy that will not help them.
Marigolds exists to make pharmaceutical policy evidence-accountable, in either direction, and legible to everyone who depends on it.
Why we are building Marigolds
The evidence moves. Policy should move with it.
For rare and specialty therapies, the evidence base is small and changes quickly. A single trial readout, a new subgroup analysis or a label update can shift who should be treated.
Reading every policy against every change in the evidence has never been possible by hand. It is now. That is the work we have chosen.
Our founder spent her career inside the payers and pharmacy benefit companies that decide access, and saw the same pattern from both sides: evidence and policy moving at different speeds, and patients caught in between.
The gap
Biopharma and payers rarely see the same picture. Patients wait in the space between. We read both sides the same way.
What we surface is what we found, and we do not tune it to the customer.
Where we are headed
A future where coverage keeps pace with the evidence.
Policy that moves with science
When the evidence changes, the criteria that rest on it are revisited then, not at the next scheduled review.
One shared reading of the evidence
Manufacturers, payers and researchers work from the same sourced picture, so disagreements are about judgment, not missing information.
Access decided by benefit
Patients who will benefit get through. Patients who will not are spared a therapy that cannot help them.

Whether you write medical or pharmacy policy at a health plan or PBM, or work in market access, HEOR, medical affairs or patient services at a biopharma company, if you live with the distance between evidence and coverage, we would like to hear what you see. No pitch. Just a conversation.
